About Shirt The Kids |
In a world where many struggle with luxuries, there are families and children who struggle with necessities. The Shirt The Kids Foundation (STK), is an organization based out of San Diego, CA with an aim to “HELP PUT A SHIRT ON POVERTY” in the Philippines. The term “Shirt” in STK is not just about providing a piece of clothing. STK also aspires to foster an environment in order for children to succeed in poverty-stricken countries. The foundation focuses on providing needs such as food, clothing, medical-aid, and education to the distressed children through various Non-Profit Organizations. |
Our Mission |
Shirt The Kids mission is to motivate the youth and aspiring leaders to raise awareness about continuously growing populations of impoverished children in the Philippines. It is about providing information, encouraging everyone to react, and to facilitate a helping hand. EDUCATE, MOTIVATE, AND PARTICPATE. The foundation provides the tools (STK Toolkit) for youth, organizations, and communities to aide necessitous children by hosting their own Shirt The Kids Showcases, fundraising events, or an event tailored to them. STK is the people’s charity. We not only want people to support the mission, but we also want them to feel like they NEED to help. It is with their WANT and NEED that we can "HELP PUT A SHIRT ON POVERTY". |
About Vision |
Shirt The Kids vision is to sustain proper living conditions in impoverished countries for children to succeed around the world. The foundation seeks the youth, organizations, and communities to be our empowerment as they educate, motive, and participate in our movement and to idolize The STK Foundation as a paradigm of aide to other countries. |
